Q1. - How long do Miniature Pinschers live?

A. - If properly bred, raised and cared for, a Miniature Pinscher can live 12 to 15 years.
Q2. - How big do Miniature Pinschers get?

A. - It depends on not only the Miniature Pinschers height, but bone structure as well. A Miniature Pinscher is supposed to grow 10" to 12-1/2" tall and should weigh from 4 to 13 pounds.
Q3. - I want a "Teacup" Miniature Pinscher, do you breed them?

A. - No, there is no such thing as a "Teacup" Miniature Pinscher.
Q4. - What health issues can a Miniature Pinscher have?

A. - Miniature Pinschers can have patellar luxation, epilepsy, demodectic mange, hip dysplasia and legg-calve-perthes. However, as long as there are caring and knowledgable breeders that practice proper selective breeding, a well bred Miniature Pinscher is most likely not to have any of these health issues.
Q5. - Are Miniature Pinschers good with children?

A. - Usually they are very good. However, as with any puppy or dog, proper socialization is the key to a good temperament.
Q6. - Are Miniature Pinschers hard to train?

A. - No, it is fairly easy to train a Miniature Pinscher. Miniature Pinschers are very intelligent and they are eager to please. Although, as with any puppy, training must be done with patience and consistently.
Q7. - Isn't a Miniature Pinscher just a smaller version of a Doberman Pinscher?

A. - No, the Miniature Pinscher and the Doberman Pinscher are in no way related.
Q8. - Miniature Pinschers are so small and fragile looking, if I give my Miniature Pinscher a bath, will he get sick?

A. - Although the Miniature Pinscher, looks fragile, they are actually a very rugged, compact little dog. Bathing should not get your dog sick. If you are comfortable with the temperature in your home, your Miniature Pinscher will be comfortable as well.

By The Way - As far as bathing goes, we suggest using an oatmeal shampoo when bathing your Miniature Pinscher. Oatmeal shampoos are least likely to dry out the skin like other dog or puppy shampoos might.
